Hi, and welcome to my site! My name is Sammi, and I’m a writer living in the New York Metropolitan Area.
I started my writing career while still attending college, commuting to my part-time New York City job once a week after classes. After graduation in 2017, I went full-time as a B2B journalist.
Two years later, I was gifted the opportunity to work remotely for a digital marketing startup. Though risky, I left my full-time job to join the team while pursuing both freelance writing and creative writing on the side — the best decision I’ve made.
I now am Assistant Managing Editor for that very company, which has grown substantially over the past few years, managing a team of freelancers and outlining, writing, editing, and producing content for various clients. I’m also an author for Metal Lunchbox Publishing, who published my young adult novel, Some Place Like Home, and two of my short stories in an anthology, Night Light: Haunted Tales of Terror. I spend my free time writing about mental health on my blog, “Sammi Says,” and working on my next novel.
I am always open to new opportunities and freelance gigs. If you’d like to work with me, feel free to contact me.
